Christine Brown, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Integrated Dermatology of Montrose in Montrose, Colorado. Dr. Brown specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, the gold standard for eliminating skin cancer, and reconstructive and laser dermatologic surgeries.
She is among the top professionals in the field of dermatology, as she trained under nationally renowned dermatologist John Zitelli, MD. Dr. Brown has more than 30 years of professional experience in dermatology and is board-certified by the American Academy of Dermatology.
She earned her undergraduate degree in pre-medical studies at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Dr. Brown received her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and was a member of the Alpha Omega Honorary Medical Society.
Dr. Brown also earned the American Women’s Association Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation in medical studies and the Merck Manual Award for Outstanding Medical Studies.
She completed an internal medicine internship and a dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, where she was a chief resident. She also completed a prestigious Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology fellowship under the direction of Dr. Zitelli.
Dr. Brown is a member of various professional organizations and earned numerous titles throughout her career. Examples include Top Doctor by U.S. News & World Report Magazine, Top Dermatologist by the Consumer Research Council, and Best Doctor in Dermatology by D Magazine.
She has performed over 20,000 reconstructive and Mohs procedures and uses cutting-edge technology and techniques, including intense pulsed light (IPL) and laser-based treatments.
